    RH Shopping Paths

    This project focuses on providing multiple pathways for users to shop.

     Navigation

    The existing navigation only allows users to shop by category. With this new hierarchy, Collections, Spaces and Materials are surfaced up to the primary level.

     
     
     
     
     
     

     Shop the category

    Shopping by category will likely remain the dominant user path. To keep the pages engaging, I’ve included lifestyle photos that support the category. Users are able to shop or save each lifestyle.

     
     
     

    Shop the Space

    RH currently has a “Shop by Room” feature. However, there is no way to navigate through it except for 1 by 1 with an image carousel. With this design, it is more immersive and curated where users can filter and then explore entire homes with that aesthetic. Every image will also include the ability to save it to a list or shop the room, which will activate modals accordingly.

     
     
     
     
     

    Shop by collection

    Users currently have to navigate down to the product level before they can surface back up an entire collection across categories. By surfacing Collections into the primary navigation, it will create a streamlined path for this shopping journey.

     
     
     

    Shop by Materials

    Most RH products come in a wide variety of fabrics and finishes. This Materials page will serve multiple functions by providing guidance, comparisons, and also a reverse item lookup by material.
